Set of 4 × Brand New Genuine Denso 18-code common rail injectors — direct-fit replacement for mid-2009–2015 Toyota Hilux N70 and Prado 1KD-FTV Euro 4 engines. The 18-code is the latest-generation G3 Denso injector for the 1KD platform, featuring improved atomisation, faster reaction times, and DLC-coated internals for maximum durability. OEM reliability, no core return required.
These 18-code Denso injectors suit the following 1KD-FTV Euro 4 vehicles:
✅ Direct-fit OEM replacement — Genuine Denso 18-code (part numbers 23670-39365 / 23670-30400 / Denso 295050-0460). No modifications required.
Note: 18-code injectors are NOT interchangeable with 11-code or 13-code models. The ECU will only accept injector calibration codes that match its programming. If you're unsure which code your vehicle runs, drop your VIN or Rego + State at checkout and we'll confirm before dispatch.
These are standard OEM-spec 18-code injectors for stock vehicles. If you're running a tune, bigger turbo, or performance mods, check out the upgraded 18-code options:
All upgraded options are Genuine Denso 18-code injectors with uprated nozzles. Tuning is required for any upgraded flow profile.
We stock the Genuine Toyota Injector Fitting Kit — copper seat washers, seals, and everything you need for a clean 1KD injector install.
💡 Pro Tip: Always replace copper seat washers and seals when fitting new injectors. Reusing old hardware is the #1 cause of post-install leaks on 1KD engines.
*Orders placed before 2 pm AEST on business days, subject to stock availability.
💡 Not sure if 18-code is correct for your Hilux or Prado? Drop your VIN (or State + Rego) in the add to cart notes and we'll verify factory compatibility before we ship. Getting the right injector code is critical — the ECU will reject codes that don't match.
When you provide your rego or VIN we'll confirm the injector type your vehicle left the factory with. However, this may be incorrect if the injectors, harness, or ECU have been previously changed (e.g. a second-hand engine swap or prior incorrect fitment).
⚠️ It's the customer's responsibility to verify injectors before installation. We recommend coding injectors to the ECU while still sealed in their clear bags so the calibration codes are read accurately. The most reliable method is to use a scan tool to read the injector codes currently stored in the ECU.
Q: What does "18 code" mean?
A: The code refers to the first two digits of the injector's compensation number, printed on the injector plug. 1KD-FTV engines used three generations of injectors — 11-code (2005–2006), 13-code (late 2006–mid 2009), and 18-code (mid 2009–2015). Each code is paired to a specific ECU calibration and they are generally not interchangeable. Your ECU will only accept codes that match its programming.
Q: How do I check if my Hilux has 18-code injectors?
A: Unplug the electrical connector on top of any injector and read the first two digits of the calibration code printed on the injector body. If it starts with "18", you have 18-code injectors. Alternatively, use a scan tool to read the injector codes stored in the ECU — this is the most accurate method, especially if the injectors have been replaced before.
Q: Can I fit 18-code injectors to an earlier 11-code or 13-code Hilux?
A: No — the ECU calibration, wiring harness, and injector coding are different between generations. 18-code injectors will not code into an 11-code or 13-code ECU. If your vehicle originally came with 11 or 13-code injectors, generally you need the matching set.
Q: What makes the 18-code injectors better than earlier 1KD injectors?
A: The 18-code is a Denso G3 (third-generation) design with faster reaction times, improved fuel atomisation, and DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating on internal components. Post-2012 18-code injectors have full DLC coating on both the armature and control piston, making them the most robust and longest-lasting injectors Toyota fitted to the 1KD platform.
Q: Do these injectors need ECU coding?
A: Yes — each of the four injectors has a unique calibration code that must be programmed into the ECU using a scan tool. Without correct coding, the engine will run rough, idle poorly, and fuel trims will be off. We recommend coding the injectors before fitting them — ideally while still sealed in their clear bags so the codes are read accurately.
Q: Will new 18-code injectors fix rough idle or cold-start diesel knock?
A: In most cases, yes. Worn injectors are the leading cause of cold-start rattle, rough idle, and poor fuel trims on 1KD engines. New Genuine Denso 18-code injectors restore correct spray patterns, smooth idle, reduce diesel knock, and bring correction values back within spec.
Q: How long do 18-code 1KD injectors last?
A: On quality diesel with regular fuel filter changes, 18-code injectors (especially post-2012 full-DLC versions) commonly last 200,000–250,000+ km. The biggest killer of injector life is fuel contamination — water or particulate in the fuel system. Keep your fuel clean and they'll go the distance.
Q: Should I replace the injector lines at the same time?
A: Strongly recommended, reusing old lines risks incorrect sealing pressure, leaks, and potential fuel contamination. New lines are cheap insurance for a clean install.
Q: Do I need a tune with standard 18-code injectors?
A: No tune required for OEM-spec 18-code injectors on a stock vehicle. They're a direct plug-and-play replacement. Tuning is only needed if running upgraded flow profiles (+30 / +50 / +100).
Q: Are these new or refurbished?
A: Brand new, Genuine Denso — not reconditioned, not remanufactured, not exchange. No core deposit, no core return. Supplied sealed in genuine Denso packaging.
Q: What are the OEM part numbers for these injectors?
A: Common Toyota part numbers for 18-code 1KD injectors include 23670-39365 and 23670-30400. The Denso part number is 295050-0460. Cross-reference numbers include Denso IAM 260100-6000.
Q: Can I use these in a 2KD or 1GD engine?
A: No — these are specifically for 1KD-FTV engines only. The 2KD (2.5L) and 1GD (2.8L) use different injector designs and part numbers. Always confirm your engine code is 1KD-FTV before ordering.
