This kit is so secretive that not even the most skilled mechanics in the land of unicorns and fairies know about it. It is rumoured that the clutch kit has the ability to destroy gear boxes, but nobody knows for sure.

Some say that the clutch kit was created by a fairy who managed to harness the power of the unicorns. Others say that it was created by a unicorn who wanted to help people achieve better performance from their Hilux's. No one knows for sure, but one thing is for sure - this clutch kit is definitely something special.

Braided Line - to bypass the clutch damper.

The N70 Hilux is fitted with a clutch hydraulic dampening valve, the purpose of this valve is to improve driver comfort by reducing vibrations through softening the clutch pedal, however it is also a common point of failure.

When installing a HD Clutch, braided line installation is recommended as they are designed to offer a stronger alternative to factory rubber lines.

Braided lines are designed to improve pedal feel due to the reduction in expansion of the hose under pressure.

Clutch set up is recommended to be adjusted by a professional to prevent wear.
