💡 Why blank both ends?

Blanking only one side leaves the EGR cooler pressurised. Blanking both ends eliminates EGR flow entirely and reduces the risk of:

  • Coolant leaks into intake or exhaust from cracked EGR coolers
  • Soot & sludge buildup inside the intake manifold
  • Sluggish throttle response on older engines
  • Boost loss from leaking or sticking EGR valves
