Thai Import - 1KD intake manifold made by HPD Special Parts, Powder Coated In Australia!
The HPD intake manifold entry size is approximately 44% larger than standard and is suitable for performance applications.
Front Mount Intercoolers only – some modification to existing piping will be required.
This 1KD Intake Manifold will require ECU remapping to work without fault codes / limp mode. The EGR, EGR sensors and actuators, swirl flap VSVs, and throttle body must be removed.
MAP sensor relocation required (barb adapter fitting & 3 mm silicone hose needed).
HP fuel lines must be bent to suit with care and attention to detail – this is not a 5-minute job. Return line also requires modifications.
Other modifications may be required – including but not limited to: glow plugs and 12V rail may need slight modification depending on your setup.
Does not work with top-mount intercooler – Front Mount ONLY.
EGR delete plate is required for the head – 1KD EGR Delete Plates available here.
