SHIPPING POLICY

Last updated: 31/03/2026

Thank you for visiting and shopping at Common Rail Cowboys. The following information sets out the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy.

Nothing in this Shipping Policy limits or excludes any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL.

1. Processing Your Order

An email confirmation is sent to your email address after placing your order. Please keep this email as proof of your purchase. If no valid email address is provided at checkout, we are unable to send order confirmations, dispatch notifications or tracking information, and accept no liability for failure to receive these communications. It is your responsibility to ensure a valid email address is entered at the time of purchase.

2. Shipment Processing Time

Processing time refers to the time it takes for us to prepare your order for shipping.

After your payment is authorised and verified, orders are generally processed within 1–3 business days if the item is in stock and not a pre-sale item. If there are any delays or issues with your order, we will contact you.

3. Shipment Locations

3.1 Domestic and International

Common Rail Cowboys ships domestically within Australia as well as internationally. If you have a question about domestic or international deliveries, please contact us at info@commonrailcowboys.com.

3.2 PO Box Deliveries

We are able to ship to PO Boxes for small or standard-sized items that can be conveniently shipped together. Large, bulky or oversized items may not be eligible for PO Box delivery due to carrier restrictions. If your order cannot be delivered to a PO Box, we will contact you to arrange an alternative delivery address. We are not responsible for delays arising from PO Box delivery restrictions where the item size or carrier limitations prevent delivery.

3.3 Dangerous Goods & Carrier Restrictions

Some products we supply — including but not limited to fuel system components, parts that may retain residual fuel or fluid, or other items classified as dangerous goods by carriers — may be subject to carrier restrictions and cannot be shipped via standard postal or courier services. In these cases, we may need to use an alternative carrier or shipping method. We will contact you if this applies to your order. Additional charges may apply where alternative carriers are required, and we will advise you of any such charges prior to dispatch.

4. Shipment Rates and Delivery Estimates

We endeavour to get your order to you as soon as possible. Once your order is placed and dispatched, an estimated delivery time will be provided to you.

Delivery times are estimates and commence from the date of shipment, rather than the date of order. Delivery times are to be used as a guide only and are subject to the acceptance and approval of your order. Estimated arrival dates are not guaranteed. Weather delays, carrier issues and other unforeseen circumstances may impact delivery time. Unless there are exceptional circumstances, we make every effort to fulfil your order promptly.

  • Express Shipping with Australia Post

Estimated delivery time frame: Your order will generally arrive within approximately 1–4 business days once shipped.

Express Shipping costs are generally free, but additional charges may apply for certain regional or remote areas.

Please note:

  • Quotations or estimates given for custom shipping options are final once the invoice is paid.
  • "Business day" means Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
  • The date of delivery may vary due to carrier shipping practices, delivery location, method of delivery and the items ordered.
  • Products may be delivered in separate shipments.
  • Transit time refers to the time it takes your order to leave our facility or our suppliers' facilities and arrive at the local delivery carrier or depot.
  • Shipping costs are based on the weight, dimensions and destination of your order and the delivery method. To find out how much your order will cost, add the items you would like to purchase to your cart and proceed to checkout. Shipping charges will be displayed on the checkout screen, unless a custom shipping option is offered or requested.
  • Due to force majeure and other unforeseen circumstances, packages to and from our facility in Brisbane, or our suppliers and transport partners, may be delayed. We appreciate your patience during these times.
  • While we endeavour to provide "free shipping", additional freight charges may apply to some regional or remote locations.
  • We are not responsible for delays or failed delivery where an incorrect or incomplete shipping address has been provided, except to the extent required under the Australian Consumer Law.

5. Tracking Options

Common Rail Cowboys aims to provide visibility and transparency throughout the shipment process. Once your order is confirmed and shipped, you will receive a link to track your package via email where tracking is available. Tracking notifications are sent to the email address provided at checkout. If no email address was provided, tracking information cannot be sent and we accept no liability for lack of delivery visibility in these circumstances.

6. Domestic and International Tracking

All orders delivered within Australia automatically include tracking.

International orders are generally sent with standard international post. This service includes tracking and your tracking number will be sent to you once your order has been dispatched. If you request alternative shipping arrangements that do not include tracking, we cannot guarantee tracking visibility and will not be responsible for the delivery of such orders once they have left our possession, except to the extent required by the ACL.

7. International Customs, Duties and Taxes

All orders shipping to a destination outside of Australia may be subject to import duties, fees and taxes of the destination country. Delays in delivery may occur if your package is randomly selected by your country's Customs Department.

Common Rail Cowboys is not responsible for any customs duties, import taxes or other fees applied to your order by foreign authorities. We have no control over the customs process or the additional charges associated with the delivery and importation of your order into your country. We do not benefit in any way from these charges and we work with our brokers and carriers to minimise delays where possible.

All fees imposed during or after shipping (including duties, taxes and customs clearance fees) are the responsibility of the customer. By placing an international order, you agree that you are responsible for any duty, taxes, customs requirements or other like taxes, fees, levies, costs or expenses associated with importing products you purchase from us and shipping them internationally.

8. Undeliverable & Returned Parcels

If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete delivery address, failed delivery attempts, an uncollected depot hold, or refusal of delivery, we will contact you to arrange redelivery. Redelivery charges are your responsibility where the return was caused by an error in the address provided, failure to collect from a depot or parcel shop, or refusal of delivery. We are not responsible for delays or additional costs arising from these circumstances, except to the extent required by the ACL.

If you believe your address was entered correctly and the parcel was returned in error, please contact us at info@commonrailcowboys.com and we will investigate with the carrier.

9. Shipping Protection (Optional)

Shipping Protection is an optional service you can select at checkout to cover loss or damage that occurs only while your order is in transit.

The minimum fee for Shipping Protection is $7.00 AUD or 2.9% of the gross order total, whichever is greater. By selecting Shipping Protection, you agree to pay the full calculated amount.

Any attempt to manipulate, bypass or reduce this fee through manual cart changes, discount codes or other unauthorised methods will void your Shipping Protection coverage and any claim made under it.

Shipping Protection applies only until the order is scanned as "Delivered" by the carrier. Once tracking shows your order as delivered to the address provided at checkout, coverage is considered fulfilled and no further claims are accepted for theft, loss or damage thereafter, except where this cannot be limited under the Australian Consumer Law.

Full terms for Shipping Protection are set out in our Terms of Service.

10. Authority to Leave (ATL)

Authority to Leave (ATL) may be offered at checkout as an option for your convenience. By selecting ATL (or leaving it selected), you authorise the courier to leave your parcel unattended at the delivery address without obtaining a signature.

Once tracking shows the parcel as "Delivered" to the shipping address you provided, delivery is deemed complete and risk in the goods passes to you, including (but not limited to) theft, loss, misplacement, weather exposure or interference by third parties, except to the extent such risk cannot be lawfully excluded under the ACL.

If you do not want your parcel left unattended, please do not select ATL at checkout. In that case, the carrier's standard delivery procedures (such as signature on delivery, card-to-call or depot/parcel shop collection) will apply at the carrier's discretion.

For more detail on ATL, please refer to our Terms of Service.

11. Damages

If your order arrives damaged, please take clear photos of the outer packaging and the affected items as soon as possible and retain all packaging materials.

If Shipping Protection was purchased, please contact us at info@commonrailcowboys.com so we can assist with a claim under that coverage.

If Shipping Protection was not purchased, we will assist you where reasonably possible to lodge a claim with the carrier. Our responsibilities in these cases are subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and the applicable carrier terms.

12. Missing or Lost Package

If tracking shows your parcel as delivered but you cannot locate it, please first check common courier hiding spots and enquire with neighbours or building management, where applicable.

If you still cannot locate your parcel, please contact us at info@commonrailcowboys.com so we can investigate with the carrier. Where Shipping Protection applies, we will also assist you with a claim under that coverage.

Our obligations in relation to lost or missing packages are subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and any applicable carrier terms. For ATL deliveries, please refer to the ATL section above and our Terms of Service for details on when risk passes to you.

13. Questions

If you have any questions about the delivery or shipment of your order, please contact us at info@commonrailcowboys.com.
