Heavy-duty intake valves for the 1KD-FTV, built to survive extreme diesel combustion while moving more air than a tired factory set. If the head is apart on a boosted build, these are what goes back in.
Construction
- One-piece forged 21-4N stainless steel bodies (non-magnetic)
- Induction-hardened 4Cr9Si2 stem tips, friction welded
- Fully nitride hardened for wear resistance
- Swirl-polished undersides for better airflow and chamber swirl
- 30° back-cut valve faces for improved flow
- Built for high temperature, high stress and corrosive combustion conditions

Q: Are intake and exhaust valves interchangeable?
A: No. This set is intake only. The exhaust set uses Stellite-welded faces for the higher heat load on that side.
Q: Do they need machining?
A: They suit the 1KD head, but any valve job should include a proper seat cut and clearance check by your machinist.
