Will this work with aftermarket turbos?

Yes – this kit is designed for both factory CT16V turbos and most aftermarket turbo upgrades. The flexible lines make routing easier for various turbo positions.

What size are the fittings?

The oil feed line uses 4AN (1/4") fittings with PTFE braided construction. The oil return uses 3/4" pipe with NBR hose and stainless steel clamps.

Can I use this with a low-mount turbo setup?

Yes – the flexible lines make this kit suitable low-mount aftermarket turbo configurations.Β 

What's the difference between PTFE and rubber oil lines?

PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) braided lines handle higher temperatures and pressures better than standard rubber. They're more resistant to oil degradation and provide longer service life in high-performance applications.

Do I need to replace these lines regularly?

The PTFE feed line is very durable. The NBR return hose should be inspected annually and replaced if you notice cracking, softening, or oil seepage. With proper installation, these lines can last many years.
