The 4D56 came in two versions with different spray-angle nozzles. They are not interchangeable — fitting the wrong one sprays fuel onto the cylinder wall or piston crown and can destroy the engine.

How to check: read the part number stamped on your existing injector. 095000-9560 (or 7490/7491) means High Power — this set. 095000-5600 means standard output.

Where a modified or "+size" injector is sold as Genuine (any brand, including Denso), the term Genuine refers to the injector body only, not the nozzle. The original nozzle has been replaced or modified to achieve the increased flow rate and is no longer the original OEM component.

The injector body remains genuine; the nozzle and overall flow characteristics differ from OEM specification.

When you provide your VIN or rego we will confirm the injector type your vehicle left the factory with. This may not be correct if the injectors, harness or ECU have previously been changed.

It is the customer's responsibility to verify injector compatibility before installation.

Q: Do these fit my Triton or Challenger?

A: These are the High Power (095000-9560) injectors for the MN Triton and Challenger 2.5L 4D56T, roughly 2009 to 2015. The standard-output 4D56 uses 095000-5600 — always confirm by VIN or the number stamped on your injector.

Q: What's the difference between HP and standard 4D56 injectors?

A: The High Power (095000-9560) uses a 155° spray-angle nozzle; the standard (095000-5600) uses 145°. They are not interchangeable — the wrong spray angle puts fuel on the cylinder wall or piston crown and can destroy the engine.

Q: Do the +30 injectors require a tune?

A: Yes. An ECU remap is mandatory for +30 injectors to manage fuelling safely. Standard sets are a direct OEM replacement and need no tune.

Q: Do 4D56 injectors need coding?

A: Yes — each injector carries an ID code that should be registered to the ECU with a suitable scan tool at install. Our +30 sets are supplied with each injector's code recorded against its serial number from our bench data; standard sets carry their factory Denso codes.

Q: Are these new or reconditioned?

A: Brand new Genuine Denso bodies — not reconditioned, not exchange, no core deposit. On +30 sets the nozzle is an MCR Performance component; see the disclaimer above.

Q: Should I choose Standard or +30?
