The PreLine-Plus system sits ahead of the factory fuel filter and strips water and particles out before they reach the pump and injectors. It tells you when it finds water instead of waiting for you to check. Built for bad fuel and hard conditions.
The PL626DPK is the vehicle-specific kit for the common rail ZD30 GU Patrol.

Fitting Notes
- Installs between the fuel tank and the factory fuel filter.
- Installation by a competent person is recommended. Direction Plus publishes an installation guide for this kit.
- Prime the system and check for leaks before driving.
Servicing
- Replace the element every 40,000 km or as per your vehicle's service schedule, whichever comes first. Replacement part: PreLine-Plus 150 element.
- When the in-cab alarm activates, drain the collected water through the drain tap. If there is a lot of water, look hard at your fuel source.
- Prime the system after an element change and check all connections for leaks before driving.

Q: Does this replace the factory fuel filter?
A: No. It installs between the tank and the factory filter as a first stage. Water and large particles are caught before the factory filter, which then does the final polishing.
Q: What happens when the alarm goes off?
A: Stop when it is safe, open the drain tap at the base of the filter and drain the water. If a lot comes out, inspect your fuel source before carrying on.
Q: What is the difference between PreLine-Plus and the Fuel Manager or Ryco kits?
A: PreLine-Plus is the higher-spec Direction Plus system: 100% water separation efficiency and a multi-stage in-cab alarm as standard. Message us if you want a straight comparison for your Patrol.
