Mounts between the tank and the factory filter. The in-cab alarm tells you when water is in the fuel, so there is no manual checking.

Not suitable for Ti models with ABS. Brake and fuel lines may inhibit installation. Check that the ABS piping does not interfere before ordering.

• We recommend a competent mechanic. Allow around 4 to 5 hours for both systems.
• PreLine-Plus mounts in the engine bay between the tank and the factory filter. The alarm module mounts in the cab (dash or A-pillar) and is wired in for the visual and audible alert.
• ProVent mounts in the engine bay and connects to the crankcase ventilation. The drain tap is routed for easy access and the sump return line is optional.
• Ti models with ABS: check clearances around the brake and fuel line routing before you start.
• The two systems can be fitted together or separately.

• PreLine-Plus: drain when the water alarm sounds. Replace the spin-on element at your vehicle service interval.
• ProVent: check the oil level every 5,000 to 10,000 km and drain through the tap as needed. Replace the element every 40,000 km. With the sump return line fitted, oil recirculates automatically.

Q: Why is it not suitable for Ti models with ABS?
A: On Ti models with ABS, the brake and fuel line routing can obstruct the pre-filter mounting location. Check clearances or ask your installer before ordering.

Q: How often do I need to drain water?
A: When the alarm sounds. Frequency depends on fuel quality, especially if you fuel at remote stations.

Q: Is the water alarm included?
A: Yes. The multi-stage in-cab water alarm comes with the PreLine-Plus kit and gives a visual and audible alert when water is detected.

Q: How does the PreLine-Plus differ from the Fuel Manager?
A: The PreLine-Plus is rated at 100% water separation (Fuel Manager: 95%), includes the in-cab water alarm and uses a spin-on element for faster servicing.

Q: Can I install it myself?
A: If you are competent with fuel lines and basic wiring, yes. Allow 4 to 5 hours. Otherwise any qualified mechanic can fit it. Installation guides are included.

Q: Does the ProVent return oil to the sump automatically?
A: Your choice. Run it as a catch can and drain it periodically, or fit the included sump return components to send the oil back to the sump.

Q: Do I need both systems?
A: They protect different things. The pre-filter keeps water and dirt out of the fuel system, the catch can keeps oil and soot out of the intake. Either can be bought separately, the combo gets you both in one order.
