HPD 1KD Stainless Bolt and Washer Set

Stainless Bolts | Anodised Alloy Washers | Toyota 1KD-FTV Rocker Cover

HPD Special Parts Stainless Steel Bolts Anodised Alloy Washers Afterpay, Humm, Klarna, Zip Free Express Shipping AU

Factory 1KD rocker cover bolts are plain black hardware that goes rusty and stays rusty. This is the HPD replacement set: stainless bolts with anodised alloy washers, imported from HPD Special Part Racing Shop in Thailand. It is a dress-up part. It will not make power, it will just look right and it will not corrode.

What It Does
  • Replaces the rocker cover fasteners. Direct swap for the factory bolts on a 1KD-FTV cover.
  • Stainless steel bolts. Corrosion resistant, so they still look tidy after a few wet seasons.
  • Anodised alloy washers. Colour accent with a fade resistant finish. Choose the washer colour on this page.
  • Suits OEM and alloy covers. Sized for the standard 1KD rocker cover bolt locations.
  • Cosmetic, not performance. Same job as the factory bolts, better finish. Nothing else changes.

Fitment
  • Toyota Hilux N70. 1KD-FTV, 2005 to 2015.
  • Toyota LandCruiser Prado 120. 1KD-FTV, 2003 to 2009.
  • Toyota LandCruiser Prado 150. 1KD-FTV, 2009 to 2015.
  • Other 1KD-FTV vehicles. The engine was used more widely than the three models above. If yours has a 1KD-FTV, check your fastener count and pattern against the cover before you order.

Check the cover, not just the badge on the ute. This set is sized for the standard 1KD-FTV rocker cover fastener layout. If your cover or grommets have already been changed for something aftermarket, count the fasteners and confirm the pattern before you order, or send us a photo and we will check it for you.

What Is Included
  • Stainless rocker cover bolts. A complete set for the 1KD.
  • Anodised alloy washers to suit. A complete set, in the colour you select on this page.

Quantities are supplied to match the OEM fastener count for the 1KD rocker cover. We have not published a piece count on this listing, so if you need the exact number before you buy, message us and we will count a set.

Which 1KD Bolt Set Do I Want
  • This listing: stainless. Plain stainless bolts with your choice of anodised washer colour. The quiet option.
  • Ti burnt blue. Stainless bolts with a burnt blue titanium-look finish, 14 bolts and 14 washers. Use the 1KD HPD Rocker Cover Bolt Set, Ti Burnt Blue.
  • Gold. Stainless bolts with a gold finish, 14 bolts and 14 washers. Use the HPD 1KD Gold Bolt Set.
  • All three fit the same cover. The only difference is the finish on the bolt head, so pick the one that suits your engine bay.

Fitting Notes
  • Swap one fastener at a time. That keeps the cover aligned and stops the gasket shifting.
  • Torque to the factory rocker cover specification for a plastic 1KD cover. Do not overtighten. Over-torquing distorts the cover or crushes the grommets, and then it weeps oil.
  • Alloy covers get tightened by feel. Snug, not gorilla.
  • Inspect the rubber grommets and seals while the bolts are out. Replace anything brittle or deformed.
  • No special tools. A standard socket set and a torque wrench do the job.

Materials and Care
  • Stainless fasteners. Wipe with a clean microfibre if they pick up road grime.
  • Anodised alloy washers. Mild soap and water only. Strong solvents and abrasives will dull the colour.
  • Minor shade variation between batches is normal. That is how anodising works.

Shipping and Payment
  • Free express shipping Australia-wide, including rural and remote.
  • Dispatch: in stock orders placed before 2 PM AEST on a business day go out the same day.
  • Buy now, pay later: Afterpay, Humm, Klarna and Zip.

Read This Before You Order

This is a cosmetic hardware set. It does not add power, it does not change how the engine runs, and it will not fix an oil leak on its own. If your cover is weeping, the gasket and grommets are what you need to look at.

Confirm the fastener count and pattern on your own cover before you order, especially if the cover is aftermarket. Returns need the parts unused and in the original packaging.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Will this fit all the 1KD Hilux and Prado models listed?

A: Yes. The set is built around the 1KD-FTV rocker cover fastener layout used on the Hilux N70 and the Prado 120 and 150.

Q: Are the washers aluminium or stainless?

A: The bolts are stainless steel. The washers are anodised aluminium, which is how you get the colour while keeping the weight down.

Q: How many bolts are in the set?

A: The set is supplied to match the OEM fastener count for the 1KD rocker cover. We have not published a piece count here, so ask us if you need the exact number confirmed before ordering.

Q: Do I need to replace the rocker cover gasket at the same time?

A: Not for a hardware swap alone. It is a good moment to inspect the gasket and grommets, though, and replace them if they are leaking or hardened.

Q: What torque should I use?

A: The factory 1KD rocker cover specification. Over-torquing distorts the cover or crushes the grommets.

Q: Will the anodised colour fade?

A: Anodising is durable, but harsh chemicals and abrasives will dull it. Clean with mild soap and water only.

Q: Will these make more power?

A: No. They are bolts. They look better than the factory ones and they do not rust, and that is the whole pitch.
