Direct bolt-on replacement for the factory Garrett GTA23V on the VDJ76, VDJ78 and VDJ79 LandCruiser. Billet TDX compressor wheel, T51R surge slot housing, dual ceramic ball bearings and a 0.72 A/R turbine deliver up to 50 percent more airflow than the OEM unit, with spool arriving roughly 500 rpm earlier.
This unit has supported 970 Nm and 350 rwhp (fuel limited) with peak torque around 2200 rpm, on appropriate supporting mods and a professional tune.

Fitment Notes ▾
Engine: Toyota 1VD-FTV 4.5L V8 Diesel. Vehicle: LandCruiser VDJ76 / VDJ78 / VDJ79, 2007 on. Direct replacement for the factory Garrett GTA23V (G842127-5001S), OEM part numbers 17201-51011 / 51010 series. No fabrication required for a standard replacement fit.
Installation and Tuning ▾
A professional ECU tune is required. Recommended supporting mods: upgraded intercooler (HPD or FMIC), high flow exhaust, performance airbox, NPC heavy duty clutch, and +30 percent or larger high flow injectors. Prime the turbo with the supplied JLM pre lube before first start. Professional installation strongly recommended.
