The original Hilux injectors supplied for the EURO 3 spec models were not DLC (Diamond Like Coated) and were prone to loud injector noise, cold rattle and what would be considered premature injector failure by todays standards. 

The Short Suction Control Valve (Short SCV) that came on the Denso HP3 (Common Rail Pump) for the Euro 3 Hilux is known to cause all sorts of problems including most notable hesitation and stalling. 

When replacing your Hilux injectors we would highly recommend - if you have not already, that you consider replacing your SCV with the upgraded Long Style SCV as it is still considered as a wear Item like Hilux injectors, and is by far the most commonly overlooked part on a Hilux Injection system.
