Your rocker cover decides this, not your build year. This adapter suits aluminium rocker covers with the factory breather port. It is not compatible with plastic rocker covers that use a moulded barb: there is nothing on those for it to push into. Look at your cover before you order. If you are not sure what you are looking at, send us a photo and we will tell you.

HPD list this adapter across the 4J family, but every vehicle confirmed above is a 4JJ1. If you have a 4JJ3 D-MAX, MU-X or BT-50, message us with a photo of your rocker cover and breather port before you order rather than assuming it carries over.

• Use decent AN fittings. Cheap ones weep, and a weeping breather line makes a mess of the bay.

A: For a catch can build, yes. You get a high-flow vapour path and a proper sealed -10AN connection for braided hose. On a standard truck with no catch can, it is not doing anything for you.
