The Direction Plus ProVent Ultimate Catch Can Kit PV602DPK for the Holden Colorado 2.8L LWH. Substantially reduces the oil that blow-by gas carries from the crankcase breather into the intake.
Without it, the EGR-equipped Duramax builds oil-and-soot sludge in the manifold and on the valves. Performance drops, and eventually something expensive needs cleaning or replacing.

A: No. Direction Plus lists this kit as unsuitable for 2017 build models. Check the build date on your compliance plate, or send us your VIN if unsure.
Q: Can I run this with a Fuel Manager pre-filter?
A: Not on the Colorado. Direction Plus notes the ProVent and Fuel Manager kits cannot both be fitted on this vehicle.
Q: I have dual batteries. Will it fit?
A: No. Direction Plus notes this kit will not fit with dual batteries.
Q: Does fitting a catch can void my warranty?
A: Fitting a quality aftermarket part does not of itself void a new-vehicle warranty under Australian Consumer Law. See the AAAA guidance. Direction Plus states this kit does not void vehicle warranties.
Q: Does the oil return to the sump?
A: Your choice. Drain the can periodically or return the separated oil to the sump.
