• Seals metal to metal on flared ends. No washers, no O-rings. The flare deforms slightly when torqued, which is why a disturbed or reused line can weep and why Toyota treats these as replace-on-disturb items.

• Pump, rail or injector work. Any job where the pump to rail line is cracked open. Reusing a disturbed high pressure line risks a leak that will not torque out.

• Rail pressure faults. A leaking or damaged inlet line can contribute to low rail pressure symptoms like hard starting and codes such as P0087. Diagnose properly, but do not reuse a suspect line.

Q: Will this fit my Prado?

A: If it is a 1KD-FTV 3.0L D-4D Prado 120 (08/2006 to 2009) or Prado 150 (2009 to 2015), yes. Earlier 1KZ-TE 120s are a different fuel system entirely. SMS us your VIN if unsure.

Q: Is this the same as the Hilux pipe?

A: No. The N70 Hilux 1KD runs a different pump to rail line (23804-30050), which we also stock. Same engine, different packaging and routing between the models.

Q: Can I reuse my old line if it looks fine?

A: The flared ends are designed to seal once. A reused line often weeps at rail pressure, and a high pressure diesel leak in the engine bay is not something to live with. At this price it is cheap insurance during pump or rail work.
