The camshaft upgrade for the pre-DPF 4JJ1, the engine that built the Aussie tourer scene.
This FuseTech intake + exhaust camshaft set suits the aluminium rocker cover 4JJ1 and 4JK1, the pre-DPF engines fitted in Australia from the mid-2000s to mid-2016 across D-MAX, Colorado RC, RA7 Rodeo and early MU-X. Revised lobe profiles run more lift and duration than the factory sticks, moving more air in and more exhaust energy out for stronger response and top-end pull on tuned builds, especially with an upgraded turbo hanging off the manifold.
⚠️ PERFORMANCE UPGRADE: Professional installation strongly recommended. Factory camshaft gears must be transferred onto these camshafts, and cam timing must be set correctly. ECU tuning recommended to get the full benefit.

Quick fitment check (trust this over your build year): aluminium rocker cover + no DPF + injector codes starting "5F" or "72" = you're in the right place. Plastic rocker cover (DPF-era 4JJ1-TCX from mid-2016, or any 4JJ3) = you need our 4JJ1 DPF / 4JJ3 Performance Camshaft Set instead. Australia changed over around June 2016, so 2016 builds exist on both sides of the line. Check the cover, not the compliance plate.
Buying from overseas listings? Thai suppliers label this cam family "Euro 1/2/3" or "05-14" because Thailand switched to the plastic cover engine before Australia did. Ignore the Thai years, the rocker cover material is what matters.

A: Yes, provided it has the aluminium rocker cover and no DPF. That's the engine this set is built for, along with all earlier alloy-cover 4JJ1s back to the RA7 Rodeo and RC Colorado.
Q: Will they fit the DPF-era 4JJ1 or the 4JJ3?
A: No. The plastic rocker cover engines (DPF 4JJ1-TCX from mid-2016 and all 4JJ3s) use a revised roller rocker valvetrain with different camshafts. We stock a separate FuseTech set for those engines.
Q: Do these fit the 4JK1 2.5L?
A: Yes. The alloy-cover 4JK1 shares its camshafts with the 4JJ1, so the same set covers both the 2.5L and 3.0L.
Q: What OE part numbers do these replace?
