The nozzle swap needs the injector stripped, the nozzle fitted, the set flow matched and leak-off checked, then reassembled. It is not a driveway job.

MCR size their nozzles by boost pressure, not by a flow percentage. Flow percentages depend on the bench, the test plan and the rail pressure, so two shops will never agree on a number. Tell us your turbo and boost target and we will confirm the nozzle before you order.

• Factory turbo: yes, with a tune. A conservative map still picks up torque and leaves headroom for a turbo later.
• Turbo upgrade: where the nozzles earn their keep. See the Flex Pro 43mm VNT (2015 to 2020), the Flex Pro 43mm VNT (i-ART) and the Flex 46mm gated.
• Fuel supply: the HP5 pump is the next limit on a big build. See the HP5 stroker shaft.
• DPF fitted: the nozzles work with the DPF in place and a tune to suit. The DPF will limit what the combination can ultimately make. Any change to emissions equipment must comply with the laws that apply to your vehicle and its use.

• Fit on a common rail bench. Strip the injector, fit the nozzle, check shim stack and needle lift, flow test and leak-off test, match the set.
• Refit with new seals and lines where needed. See the genuine 1GD injector fuel line set.
• The existing compensation code on the body stays valid after a nozzle change. Enter it as normal and run the injector learn.
• ECU remap required. The factory map does not know the nozzle changed.
• Clean-room practice. One speck of grit is enough to stick a needle.

These are modified performance nozzles, not a standard replacement part. Flow percentages are nominal and vary with rail pressure, pulse width and test bench. Fitting them changes the flow characteristics of the injector from original OEM specification.

Any change to emissions equipment or calibration must comply with the laws that apply to your vehicle and its use. Off-road and competition use where permitted.

It is the customer's responsibility to verify injector compatibility before fitting.

Q: Are these complete injectors?

A: No. Nozzles only. They must be fitted to your existing 1GD-FTV Denso injector bodies on a common rail bench.

Q: Which variant do I need?

A: The 130 kW engine built before the mid 2020 update is pre i-ART. The 150 kW engine from the 2020 update on is i-ART. Same 1GD-FTV, different injectors, different nozzle. Send us your VIN or rego if unsure.

Q: Do I need a tune?

A: Yes. An ECU remap is essential to use the extra fuel and keep smoke and EGTs under control.

Q: Will the compensation codes change?

A: No. A nozzle change does not generate new codes. Re-enter the code on the body after refit and run the injector learn.

Q: Will these work on the stock turbo?

A: Yes, with a tune written for it. They come into their own behind a turbo upgrade.

Q: Can I fit them myself?

A: Only if you have a common rail test bench. Otherwise send the injectors to us or a diesel shop with one.
