Denso HP3 Pump Upgrade | 1.3mm Stroke | Toyota 1KD-FTV
Upgrade the HP3 pump for stronger rail response, more fuel volume and more power.
The FuseTech 1KD 1.3mm stroker shaft is precision machined to increase pump stroke and total fuel volume from the factory Denso HP3. When the stock pump runs out of rail pressure on a tuned 1KD-FTV, this is the fix. Suits Hilux N70 and Prado 120/150.
Professional installation and tuning required. HP3 pump work needs specialist knowledge. ECU calibration is mandatory for any performance gain.
Key Features
- 1.3mm stroker profile for increased pump stroke
- Boosts fuel volume and rail pressure capability
- Enhanced rail pressure response under load, improved throttle response and top-end fuel delivery
- CNC machined to tight tolerances from high-strength material, built to withstand HP3 duty
- Cost-effective compared with a full pump conversion
- Designed for the Denso HP3 pump platform
Power Support
Supports high-powered 1KD builds pushing up to around 330 RWHP (estimated) with the correct injectors, turbo and supporting mods and appropriate tuning. The shaft alone will not get you there: at that level you will typically also need larger injectors, an upgraded turbo, intercooler and custom ECU tuning.
Vehicle Fitment
- Toyota Hilux N70 KUN26, 1KD-FTV
- Toyota LandCruiser Prado 120 and 150, 1KD-FTV
- Any 1KD-FTV running a Denso HP3 pump
Drop-in upgrade for the stock HP3 pump with minimal modification required.
What Is Included
- 1 x FuseTech 1.3mm stroker shaft, CNC machined, brand new
Not included: installation instructions, pump seals or hardware. Professional fitting recommended.
Fitting Notes
- Professional installation highly recommended. HP3 assembly needs precise clearances and cleanliness to avoid failure.
- ECU tuning required. This upgrade increases fuel volume, so tuning is mandatory.
- Inspect pump internals and overall pump condition before fitting performance parts.
For off-road and competition use only. Fuel system modifications may affect compliance. Check local regulations before purchase.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I need tuning after installation?
A: Yes. Tuning is required to use the increased fuel delivery. Without proper ECU calibration you will not see the performance benefit.
Q: How much power can it support?
A: With the correct injectors, turbo and tune, up to around 330 RWHP builds with the right supporting modifications (estimated).
Q: Will it fit a stock HP3 pump?
A: Yes. It is a drop-in upgrade with minimal modification required.
Q: Is this a new part?
A: Yes. Brand new FuseTech stroker shaft, precision machined.
Q: Can I install this myself?
A: Professional installation is highly recommended. HP3 pump assembly requires specialist knowledge, proper clearances and cleanliness to avoid failure.
Q: What other upgrades do I need?
A: For 330 RWHP and beyond you will typically need larger injectors, an upgraded turbo, intercooler and custom ECU tuning. The stroker shaft alone will not achieve those numbers.
