NPC list the 8006-1B for the GUN 1GD from 2015 to 2018. For a 2018 onwards facelift or a 2020 i-ART Hilux, message us with your build date before ordering and we will confirm the correct NPC kit.

The N80 has a hydraulic damper (accumulator) in the clutch line and it is a known failure point. Bypassing it with the NPC braided line removes fluid dampening and hose expansion, giving a more direct pedal and sharper engagement. NPC recommend it and so do we.

NPC note: removing the accumulator can introduce a slight pedal pulsation that the factory part normally damps. That is not a warranty item.

• Fit to NPC's standard. Before fitting, trial the disc on the gearbox spline and check cover and release bearing height.
• The supplied billet flywheel comes machined and ready to fit. Fit the kit as a set.
• Inspect the fork, pivot, slave cylinder and rear main seal while the gearbox is out. See the genuine 1GD rear main seal kit.
• Bed in for 1,000 km of normal around-town driving. It is the gear changes that bed it in. No burnouts, flat changes or towing until then.

• Pedal: close to factory. NPC's Heavy Duty organic is built so the extra clamp comes with little or no extra pedal effort in most cases.
• Single mass flywheel: some setups show light gear rattle at idle where the dual mass used to damp it. Normal.
• Rated capacity assumes a healthy drivetrain, correct fitment and a sensible tune.
• NPC warranty excludes shudder, slip, pedal feel and harsh engagement on vehicles outside original specification, which includes tuned builds. Fit it properly and bed it in and you will not need it.

Q: What is it rated to?

A: NPC's maximum measured dyno figure at the wheels is 650Nm. Some resellers quote 750Nm; we use NPC's own number.

Q: Does it replace the dual mass flywheel?

A: Yes. The NPC billet steel single mass flywheel is included, machined and ready to fit, plus release bearing, spigot bearing and aligning tool.

Q: Will the pedal be heavy?

A: No. NPC build the Heavy Duty organic for near-factory effort.

Q: Does it suit my 2019 or 2020 Hilux?

A: NPC list this kit to 2018. Send us your build date and we will confirm the right kit for a later N80.

Q: Do I need the braided line?

A: Recommended. It deletes the factory damper, which is a known failure point on the N80, for a more direct pedal.
