Which Ranger uses the BK2Q-9K546-AG injector?

The early 3.2L P5AT: Ford Ranger PX MkI (10/2011–05/2015) and Mazda BT-50 UP (11/2011–08/2015). From the 05/2015 facelift the engine moved to the late CK4Q-9K546-AA injector.

Are Schaeffler injectors genuine for the early P5AT?

Yes — Schaeffler Vitesco is the current name for the original equipment injector supplier, formerly Siemens VDO and then Continental. The A2C59517051 / BK2Q-9K546-AG injector now carries Vitesco number 562 0022 10 and may arrive in Schaeffler Vitesco green and white packaging. It is the same genuine OE part.

Why does the Ranger 3.2 take 5 injectors?

The 3.2L P5AT is a five-cylinder engine, so a complete replacement set is 5 injectors.

Do the injectors need coding to the ECU?

The factory injector line has changed names over the years — Siemens VDO became Continental, then Vitesco, and is now Schaeffler Vitesco — but it's the same genuine OE part. Restore factory fuel delivery, idle and drivability.

⚠️ Early model only. The 3.2L injector changed part number at the 05/2015 facelift. This set is the early BK2Q-9K546-AG. PXII / PXIII Ranger or BT-50 UR (05/2015 on)? You need the late CK4Q-9K546-AA set — the wrong number will not code to the ECU.

🏷 Siemens VDO → Continental → Schaeffler Vitesco?

Same manufacturer, three name changes. Siemens VDO was bought by Continental (2007), Continental's powertrain arm was spun off as Vitesco Technologies (2021), and Vitesco merged into Schaeffler (2024). The A2C part numbers carry across, with Vitesco-format numbers (562 0022 10) now appearing on the boxes. Whatever the branding on the box, it's the same genuine OE injector for the P5AT.
