Where a modified or “+size” injector is advertised or sold as a Genuine injector (including Denso), it is to be understood that Genuine refers only to the injector body, not the nozzle.
The nozzle is replaced or modified to achieve increased flow and therefore is no longer the original OEM component. The modification process, flow characteristics and performance outcomes can vary between manufacturers or suppliers.
While the injector body remains genuine OEM, the nozzle and the injector’s overall fuel delivery characteristics differ from original factory specifications.
