HPD 4JJ3 EGR Delete Plates
4JJ3-TCX 2020 On | CNC Anodised Alloy | D-MAX, MU-X and BT-50
The HPD 4JJ3 EGR cooler delete plates block the EGR circuit on the current 4JJ3-TCX, stopping exhaust gas from recirculating into the intake. It keeps the manifold clean, takes a restriction out of the airflow path, and gives boost control something consistent to work with on a tuned or towing truck.
What It Does
- Blocks the EGR cooler circuit. No exhaust gas recirculating into the intake.
- Prevents carbon build-up in the intake runners.
- Anodised alloy construction. Strong, heat-tolerant and corrosion-resistant.
- Suits high-boost builds. Worth doing alongside a turbo upgrade rather than after it.
Fitment
- Isuzu D-MAX. 4JJ3-TCX, 2020 on.
- Isuzu MU-X. 4JJ3-TCX, 2020 on.
- Mazda BT-50. 4JJ3-TCX, 2020 on. Does not suit the square EGR cooler.
The square EGR cooler is not covered by this listing. Some 4JJ3 vehicles, BT-50s in particular, run the square-type cooler. Those take the DPF 4JJ1 EGR Delete Plates instead. Check the flange style before you order. If you are not certain, send us a photo of the cooler and we will confirm which set you need.
Which EGR Plate Do I Need
- This listing. 4JJ3-TCX from 2020, not the square cooler.
- Square EGR cooler, including BT-50. Use the DPF 4JJ1 EGR Delete Plates, 2016-2020.
- Pre-DPF, 2014 to 2016. Use the 4JJ1 Pre-DPF EGR Delete Plates.
- Earlier 4JJ1, 3-bolt offset and 2-bolt round. Use the 4JJ1 EGR Delete Plates 2006-2014.
- Single-cooler layout. Use the Rodeo RA7 EGR Delete Plates.

Fitting Notes
- An ECU EGR disable is required. A remap or a plug-in delete loom, either is fine.
- Clean the sealing surfaces before the plates go on.
- Aftermarket turbo piping can block access. Check what is in the way before you start.
- If you remove the cooler, cap the coolant lines. Our HPD billet 17mm coolant blanking plugs are made for capping them off, sold as a pair.
