A: Displacement is the cheapest torque there is. The extra 200cc lifts response and load-carrying grunt across the whole rev range, and raises the ceiling of what the platform can support with fuel and boost.
Q: Is this a drop-in part?
A: No. It requires a full engine build. Your engine builder should confirm bearing clearances, piston-to-head clearance and component selection for your combination.
Q: Do I need different rods or pistons?
A: Component selection depends on your build target – talk to your engine builder. We stock forged I-beam rods, genuine 110 pistons and ARP head studs to suit built 1KDs.
Q: What's the lead time?
A: Typically 1.5–3 weeks from order to dispatch.
