The electronic VNT actuator for the Garrett GTD2056V / GTD2056VZK turbo fitted to the 3.2L P5AT DuraTorq in the Ford Ranger PX2 and PX3, Ford Everest UA and Mazda BT-50 UR. This is the most common 3.2L actuator in the Australian fleet and the one behind most late-model Ranger limp mode complaints.
The usual pattern is limp mode, under-boost or over-boost while the turbo itself is mechanically fine: no shaft play, no oil leak, no whine. If the turbo spins clean and the scan tool is throwing an actuator or boost control fault, replacing the stepper motor on its own is the fix.

This actuator does not suit Ranger PX1 or Mazda BT-50 UP, and does not suit any 2.2L P4AT application.

Installation and Calibration Notes
- Electronic actuators may require calibration after installation. Have a scan tool and the correct procedure ready before you start.
- Skipping calibration can leave the vehicle in limp mode or throw boost control faults even with a good actuator fitted.
- Set the linkage to the same effective length as the unit coming off before final tightening.
- Always confirm the turbo ID before ordering. Fitting an actuator calibrated for a different turbo can cause over-boost or under-boost.
- Professional installation is recommended.
