Which code do I need?

The code count matches your engine's era: 11 code (2005 to 2006), 13 code (2006 to 2009) and 18 code (2009 to 2015). The compensation code is printed on top of each injector body, and new injectors must have their codes registered to the ECU on installation.

Signs your 1KD injectors are on the way out

Are these genuine Denso injectors?

Yes. Standard sets are new genuine Denso. Upgraded sets start from genuine Denso cores fitted with MCR nozzles, then flow tested and matched on the Hartridge Sabre.

Do the injector codes need to be programmed?

Yes. Each injector's IQA compensation code must be written to the ECU with Techstream or equivalent, otherwise you'll get rough running and drivability issues even with perfect injectors.

Can I fit upgraded injectors to a stock engine?

+30% injectors need supporting tuning to make sense. If you're staying stock, fit the genuine replacement sets and spend the difference on the fitting kit and new lines.

What if I'm not sure my injectors are the problem?

Mail them in. Our testing service runs your injectors through a full Hartridge Sabre test plan and you get a written report and diagnosis, so you only buy what you actually need.
